What is not to love about Florence? Here’s my blog about it. The city was beautiful. The spring weather was great and there were no crowds. The architecture alone was worth the visit. But Tuscany has so much to offer besides Florence. Lucca was charming, Cinque Terre was amazing, the tower was still leaning in Pisa, and the coast boasts amazing beaches.
How about something different? UnCruise Adventures is an amazing and different way to experience Alaska. I tried one of their 7-day summer adventure cruises in Alaska and we only stopped in a town only once, in Wrangell for four hours. The rest of our time was spent kayaking and exploring the wilderness of Alaska. I saw glaciers up close, the most beautiful waterfalls and unbelievable wildlife. We saw bears with cubs, sea lions, seals, whales (one night 20 or more whales passed our boat), eagles, and water birds. Here’s my blog about it.
