This 55-day odyssey of a lifetime will span three continents and four luxurious ships, and take 68 adventurous travelers to top destinations as well as new-to-Uniworld locales. Across South America, Europe and Southeast Asia, you’ll discover a total of 10 countries, all in one trip.

Lavender Collins

  • 0.85 fl oz lemon juice
  • 0.51 fl oz lavender syrup
  • Nontoxic lavender sprig
  • Soda water

Preparation:

Place gin, lemon juice and lavender syrup over ice in a cocktail shaker. Shake and strain into a Collins glass over ice, top up with soda water and stir. Garnish with lavender sprig.

As the lifeblood of Southeast Asia, the Mekong teems with colorful floating villages and mementos of its French Colonial past. Phnom Penh, Cambodia’s thriving capital still retains a provincial intimacy. And colorful Siem Reap provides the gateway to the vast UNESCO-designated, jungle temple complex of Angkor Wat.

Douro River
Cruising is back

View our  Journey to Portugal virtual event hosted by Matthew Kohls with Uniworld. Board the all inclusive Sao Paulo river boat in historic Porto, then follow the Douro River past quaint villages, terraced vineyards and  dramatic landscapes of the Douro Valley. There’s a grand finish in Lisbon, the City of Seven Hills.

The Uniworld Story

In 2004, Uniworld was acquired by The Travel Corporation (TTC), an international travel group founded by Stanley Tollman. TTC has more than 30 top brands, including Trafalgar, Insight Vacations, and Contiki, as well as Red Carnation Hotels, a renowned collection of four- and five-star luxury properties.

ABOUT BEA TOLLMAN:
The renowned Red Carnation Hotel Collection was founded in the early 1980s by Beatrice Tollman, who has many years of experience as a chef, cookbook author, and hotelier in South Africa, Europe, and the US. The family-run business now spans four generations—including her husband Stanley and three children—and owns and operates 17 boutique properties in five countries. She began her career intending to become a teacher, though a school trip to Europe presented her with a different vision. It was then that her palate was first piqued, a hunger for fine cuisine was born, and an idea was sparked: to combine exquisite gastronomy with enchanting world travels. A few years later, Bea caught the eye of a distinguished South African hotelier, Stanley Tollman, a man with a heart for hospitality and a red carnation nestled in his lapel. They would later go on to build the world-renowned luxury brand, Red Carnation Hotels. But Bea had even bigger dreams, dreams on the water, which eventually leading her to acquire Uniworld River Cruises in 2004.
