Rocky Mountaineer Name Change
to Armstrong Collective
In mid-March 2025, Rocky Mountaineer announced their new parent brand, Armstrong Collective, which includes their Rocky Mountaineer (Canadian) and Canyon Spirit (U.S. based) rail journeys. In 1990, their founder and owner, Peter Armstrong, launched the Rocky Mountaineer train journey that travels between Vancouver and the Canadian Rockies. In 2025, as their family business transitions to the next generation, they are building on this legacy and setting the stage for the future. As Armstrong Collective, they are now leaning into their decades of world-class hospitality experience and will continue to help travelers explore spectacular natural wonders around the world in the years to come.
